The new Ball and Buck Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler is here. For this launch we built upon our custom Jeep program that began in 2020, with an offering focused on adventurers and overlanders who want to get off the grid in style. In partnership with ARB, Quadratec, Raceline Wheels, BF Goodrich, Gunner Kennels, Kentrol, and builder Bird Dog Buggies, the new ARB Overland Edition includes over 15 exclusive features for a truly one-of-a-kind build.
Each Ball and Buck Signature Scrambler is made to order with an original Jeep CJ-8 that was first introduced in 1981 and produced in very limited numbers through 1986. We source these original vehicles and begin their full frame-off restoration process, incorporating modern technology that improves drivability, functionality, and comfort while maintaining the original appearance.
These reimagined Jeeps, hand-crafted by Kyle Smith of Bird Buggy, incorporates the latest trail-tested overland products from ARB like a safari snorkel air intake, the ARB base rack system with attached awning and hi lift jack, custom steel bumpers with front and rear shackles, an on-board air compressor, and ARB high intensity LED lighting to name a few. For the first time, outdoorsmen, Jeep loyalists and overland afficianos who appreciate the classic 1980’s Jeeps can purchase a turn-key overland vehicle that will provide the perfect balance of luxury and off-road prowess.
